"Bird" Week

We learned about Birds this week. We had so much fun and spent most of the week outside.

The boys were using their "Listening Ears" to listen for birds while at the Audubon Society.

                                              

At the zoo, they have tons of different types of birds to look at. 

At the zoo there is an eagle nest that kiddos can play in:)

We headed to the Children's museum to play one day. While we were there, we played in the treehouse and the boys used the twig and leaf pillows to make a nest:)

While at the Children's Museum, The boys had fun playing with this light table and Ikea Plates, Bowls, and cups. 

 We also had fun playing with the clay and watching this really talented woman on the pottery wheel. The boys loved helping and getting dirty!

 They also loved the "Grocery" store:)

We did some fun Bird Crafts. We made this snack chain for the birds with cheerios.

 We made Chocolate/butterscotch pretzel bird nests with skittle eggs.

We made these toilet roll bird feeders

 and foot print birds

The letter of the week was C. These items were in our curriculum box:)

We made a C into a Caterpillar:)
