HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! 2011

We had a New Year's Eve Party at our House! Paul and Blythe Brought their Kinect from home and we had so much fun. We hooked it up to the Projector!

By 11:00, everyone was pretty wiped out, but we were determined to HANG ON!

As you can see, Mark and Patrick were WIDE AWAKE!  Anderson Passed out around 10:30 (his bedtime) and before I tucked him into bed, I took this cute picture of him with Scott and Lauren:) They are going to be such good parents some day:)

Happy New Year Everyone!!! We are excited for what 2011 has in store. Many 1st year Milestones await us!

JUST LIKE DADDY!

Patrick wore this outfit when he was just a few days old. (mind you, Patrick was 7 lbs) Anderson is about 10 lbs in this picture. He is practically poured into this outfit..haha. But the documentation and principal is what's important:)

Also, Anderson LOVES LOVES LOVES Bathtime! he is so cute and grins from ear to ear and coos and babbles. Patrick and I both want him to be a water baby and love to swim. We spend about 20-30 minutes in the bath with him every time. It's Great!

Fun with Cousins:)

My Brother Casey and his family came for Christmas. We had fun spending time with them.
Isaiah and Joshua are their two youngest kiddos. They had fun playing with Andin.

Patrick and I Isaiah were so funny, They chased and wrestled and Isaiah thought Patrick was so funny!

CHRISTMAS!!

This year we decided to spend Christmas at our home. We have not had a Christmas at our home EVER so it was very exciting for us to be spending it as a new family of three with Anderson and start some new traditions.:)

We had our own family time in the morning. We slept in and then relaxed and listened to Christmas music. Nana and Papa stayed the night too:)

At around 10:00, Mark, Alicia and the girls showed up and we opened the presents Nana and Papa brought for all the kiddos.

We had a Brunch later on and invited our friends Paul and Blythe to join us since they don't have any family here. Tader Always makes himself at home with them:)

 Anderson crashed on Blythe:) Christmas Morning wore him out.

Christmas Eve!!

We celebrated Christmas Eve up at my Parent's House. Patrick's Mom and Dad and his sister and her family joined the fun:) Anderson was cuddled and passed around.

Every Year we dress the kiddos up and do a Children's Nativity. My mom made all of the costumes. We have been doing this for as long as I can remember:)

Halle made a PERFECT Mary. She was so gentle and attentive. It was so sweet.

The "LIVE" Children's Nativity.

Once "Baby Jesus" was placed in the manger, The kids were mesmerized by him, They stared at him and were so reverent and quiet. It was the most spiritual nativities we have EVER had (in my opinion) Some of the kids reached out to touch him and he was very content during the narration. I could have cried (some in the room did) It was a precious moment and I will never forget it.

After the Nativity, we just visited and relaxed and hung out.

Christmas Eve Eve!!

I took Anderson over to my best friend Cori's house on Christmas Eve Eve to meet her parents for the first time.

Papa Phil LOVED Anderson. He was so cute with him.

 Nana Jenny Talked and Talked and Talked and Talked some more with Anderson. They stared at eachother for the longest time. He LOVED to look at her. It was a very tender moment when they both snuggled in and took a snooze together:)

 Cody even had a turn holding him. He said, "Wow, He isn't Crying when I Hold Him." He thought that was so cool...haha

 Later on that night, we headed over to Mark and Alicia's house where they were celebrating Christmas Eve Eve with Mark's Sister's Family.

 Heidi's family just ate him up and OF COURSE, had to do their family's tradition of "SQUISHY FACE"...my poor kid..lol. It was great to spend time together with our "extended"  family.
We feel so blessed to have, what we call "extended brother's and sister's and cousins and grandparents, etc." I love that Anderson will grow up having so many that love and care for him. We are truly grateful for our friends and family!

Hunt's Christmas Party

Anderson was sleeping soundly, but I knew we had to get him dressed for the Annual Christmas Party at the Hunt's house. I got him completely undressed and he was still Crashed Out...lol.

 Well, I got him dressed and tried to get a picture of him in his super cute outfit. I learned from this experience to NEVER WAKE A SLEEPING BABY!!!! HE WAS SO UNHAPPY!

 Here we are at the Hunt's and hanging with our niece, Halle and Nephew Kyle. We are so crazy! Anderson was such a trooper and was happy all night!

 The Talent show was awesome!

During the photo shoot,  a little bird hit Mari's window. I went out to see how the bird was and he was a little stunned and was up for a little Photo Op. He flew off a little while later. Cool Picture huh?
